This competition is designed to pit the host schools of the National Guard FLW College Fishing Regional Tournaments against one another to design the best piece of artwork depicting bass fishing, boats or anglers. The art department will submit up to three (3) pieces of artwork, no larger than 24 x 36, to be entered into the overall competition. The artwork will be displayed at the final weigh-in of the regional tournament then transported to the national tournament for judging. The winning piece of artwork will receive a grand prize of $1,000 and possibly used as part of the marketing campaign for the 2010 FLW College Fishing program with full recognition of the school, its art department and students responsible for creating the winning piece.

It is tradition to have the National Anthem performed each morning before the take-off of the fishing competition and each afternoon at the weigh-in festivities. This contest will showcase the talents of the students or faculty by inviting the music department to select 5 different people and/or groups to perform the National Anthem each morning and afternoon. Each act will receive $50 for their participation. From those performances, a winner will be selected. The winner will perform the National Anthem at the closing ceremonies of the National Guard FLW College Fishing Regional Tournament and receive $100 as a grand prize.

The National Guard Warrior Challenge will be there to test your skill level with a high ropes course, shooting gallery, rock wall, balance test and pedal karts. Are you ready for the challenge? Come out and compete!

Teams competing in National Guard FLW College Fishing are invited to submit a 2 to 4 minute edited video highlighting their tournament experience using clips provided by FLW Outdoors. Use the links provided here to download your favorite clips and upload your finished video (see the Rules for allowed music). Feel free to recruit your video-savvy friends to help, too. All videos submitted will be available for online viewing, and one finalist from each division will be selected by our television production crews. We will then turn the voting over to CollegeFishing.com visitors who will select their favorite video from the five divisional finalists. The winning video, as determined by online votes, will be featured in the National Guard FLW College Fishing National Championship television show on Versus Country.
