Participate in Geocaching for FREE on November 14, 2009 and November 15, 2009

Geocaching is a high-tech scavenger/treasure hunt game that is played all over the world, utilizing hand held GPS devices, coordinates and clues.

Caches (containers) will be hidden around campus and their clues and coordinates distributed to participants. All participants will have 4 hours to locate caches and pull one geo-fish card enclosed in an envelope from each.

Participants will be required to leave a Photo ID and a credit card, along with a cell phone number to ensure the return of the GPS units. Upon completion, participants will turn in their un-opened envelopes and "weigh-in" their geo-fish cards. The participant that has the highest overall combined weight will receive a GPS unit as their prize.

Participate

To participate just go to the at the Northwestern State University starting at 11:30 am on November 14 or November 15 - first come first served after pre-registration participants.
The event lasts from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Reel Life Festival

Come out to the Reel Life Festival at Prather Coliseum Parking Lot to test yourself on the National Guard Warrior Challenge and for your chance to win a Macbook Air and Ipod! Test your skill level with a high ropes course, shooting gallery, rock wall, balance test, and pedal karts. Are you ready for the challenge? Come out and compete.
