All teams receive a travel allowance based on the distance traveled to the tournament. The top five teams from each of five National Guard Regional Championships advance to the National Guard National Championship.
Cabela’s Angler Cash - Cabela’s presents a $1,000 Cabela’s gift card to the highest-finishing team in each CF Regional Championship event if both members of the team meet Cabela’s Angler Cash guidelines. The gift cards will be awarded to the college bass clubs represented by the teams. Anglers must be registered with Cabela’s and meet all Cabela’s Angler Cash clothing and decal requirements. All teams receive a travel allowance based on the distance traveled to the tournament. The winning team will qualify for the 2010 Forrest Wood Cup. The team will also receive the use of a Ranger boat and Chevy truck wrapped in school colors. All prize money earned in the Forrest Wood Cup will go directly to the individual who earns it.
